Frequently Asked Questions

What is good about the build of your saunas?

They are built using 44mm thick wood and not thin tongue & grove panels, which gives the sauna the strength to last for years.

Can the sauna be used outdoors in the garden?

Yes an outdoor kit can be added to our SA range of sauna.

Do you deliver saunas to Ireland?

Sorry we do not.

What size base do we need for an outdoor sauna?

Typically a 100 to 150mm deep base is required. The size of the base needs to be slightly larger than the sauna cabin. The base needs to be flat but free draining.

What is the difference between ceramic infrared saunas and panelled infrared saunas?

In a ceramic infrared sauna the heat is generally emitted from 6 to 8 ceramic fittings approx 10x20cm in size - if you like spot heating. In a panelled infrared sauna the heat is emitted all around the sauna and on the floor allowing for full body bathing. Panelled Infrared Saunas are more expensive but provide a far superior sauna experience.

Do the saunas run of a 13A plug?

Some of the smaller saunas can be run off a 13A plug, i.e. a sauna which uses a 3kw stove or less.

Are your saunas walls built of thin tongue and grove with rock wool insulation or solid wood walls?

Our saunas are built using 44mm log wood which means that they are not only built to last they are also very well insulated to keep the heat in and keep running costs low.
